Sherry’s Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing
loving care to foster children with an emphasis on Christian values. Sherry’s Home was created in loving memory of Sherry Rhodes,
who in her heart and by her actions dedicated her life to the loving
care and welfare of all children. She unselfishly gave of herself
and her resources to help people, especially children.

The purpose of this organization is to continue Sherry’s most
passionate desire, to provide warm loving care to foster children
in need. Her dream before she left this earth for heaven was to
expand her role in providing for foster children.

The plan for Sherry’s Home will be accomplished in phases. First,
we plan to locate and purchase approximately 10 acres of land.
We expect to build up to five foster homes, each occupying one
and a half acres including yard and garden. The remaining two
and a half acres will be a common area with playground and
sports area along with a media center.

In the second phase we will build the first foster home. Each home
will accommodate up to six foster children at one time. The house
will be furnished, and loving and qualified house parents will be
sought out to provide the kind of security they deserve.

In phase three we will build the second home, and in phase four
the third home. The fourth phase will begin construction on the common area and media center.

Phase five will include a fourth home while continuing
the common area and media center. Phase six will be
home number five and completion of the common
area and media center.

This process will be repeated as many times
as it is God’s will.
